Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this remarkable event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has collected $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle group participates every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
